ReplyDelete25 year old sawdust from a local mill. It's getting rave reviews all over town. I recommend mulching as soon as your plants are tall enough to help hold in the moisture. A lot of folks are tilling it into soil they have already, but we just planted directly in it, as we'd had a local farmer tell us her seedlings were growing twice as fast in it.
